Wego Data: Reveals 42% Rise in Domestic Flight Searches Ahead of Saudi National Day

Saudi Arabia is seeing growing interest in domestic travel ahead of the Kingdom’s National Day, with domestic flight searches rising 42% and hotel searches across the country increasing 62% compared with the same period last year. According to data from Wego, the number one travel app and the largest online travel marketplace in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Jeddah ranked as the most-searched destination for domestic flights during the holiday period, followed by Madinah, Riyadh, Dammam and Abha.
