She then went on to complete her medical education with honors at the Baylor College of Medicine in 2016, followed by an internship and residency in otolaryngology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her residency, she also trained at Parkland Hospital, Children's Medical Center Dallas, and the Dallas VA Medical Center.
Remaining up to date in her field, she is an active member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the Texas Academy of Otolaryngology, and the Travis County Medical Society. She has published multiple journal articles and presented academic posters at national meetings.
Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
Outside of work, Dr. Mothersole enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy traveling together and are trying to visit every National Park. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
