As a socially responsible participant in Move for Hunger, company executives believes difference makers should lead by example- which is why the owner and top management drive electric vehicles.

Unlike most major moving companies Cross Country Movers eliminates the anxiety associated with the cost of moving by offering guaranteed pricing based on the list of items.

The Tesla Semi goes 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds (which is incredibly fast compared to a diesel truck) and accelerates 0 to 60 mph towing 80,000 lbs, its max tow load, in just 20 seconds. It can reach 65 mph up a 5 percent grade, which is far better than the 45 mph max that a diesel competitor can do, and when it comes to range: it can travel 500 miles at highway speed, and less than 80 percent trips are at 250 miles. Tesla also says the Semi outperforms its diesel rivals in terms of responsiveness and handling, while covering more miles than a diesel semi truck in the same time span; with safer operation in and around regular traffic.

Another key element of the new Semi is that it will automatically avoid one of the most notorious, and potentially dangerous safety issues faced by big rigs with trailers: jackknifing. The Tesla Semi has active safety measures designed to prevent this from happening and does so by taking advantage of its unique electric drivetrain, which includes independent motors for each of the wheels. The truck can sense distribution of weight across those wheels and actuate the motors or brake them accordingly to maximize traction control, automatically correcting for things like oversteering in response to weight shifts.

The result is a truck that will do everything in its power to avoid a jackknifing incident without requiring any driver intervention; regardless of what trailer or load is attached at the back. This feature offers drivers an ever-increasing peace of mind, and Too Good assurance that its personnel are protected.
